I've created a City Supporters League just as a bit of fun to do through out the season, hopefully a load of you will join and continue with this through the season. If it does get popular I'll get a bottle of spirits for the winner or something along them lines.
I pick 12 games each week for you all to predict and the website does the rest e.g scoring, league tables etc so it won't (shouldn't) all mess up.
First set of games start next Friday with the first being York v Woking.

This may seem complicated but it's easy once you get the hang of it, and it's the only fair way of reflecting predictions when there can be a different number of games each week, and when some people may miss some weeks.
30 points are awarded for getting a prediction EXACTLY correct (ie the score was 2-1 and you predicted 2-1).
10 points are awarded for getting the outcome correct but the exact prediction incorrect (ie the score was 4-0 and you predicted 3-2).
Your total is then divided by the number of games (1 to 10) that you had to predict that week. You then end up with a score for the week. This weekly score is added to your overall total.
Your 'points' total, which is the bottom line and which reflects your position in the league, is your overall total divided by the number of attempts you have made.
0.1 is added to your score for every set of predictions made, so you can't just turn up, get a great score in your first week, never predict again, and then sit at the top of the table forever. |
- First of all you need to register which is exactly the same as it was to register on this forum.
- Then sign up to this league.
Simple!

I e-mailed the webmaster at the weekend to ask for all the Conference teamsto be added, he has just got back to me and has now added all 22 conference teams.
9 in the league so far!

| Just been on to check my first weeks results. Is it me or have they not given the correct result for the York match? They seem to have given points for a 2-1 away win. |
