I can't help but feel some responsiblity for the downfall of what used to be thing great place, The way the forum was at the end of August 2003 when I joned, so different, much more united, ok so because of the creation of YY there was a rift starting to appear, me making futile attempts to post in CC started the problems. The rift has grown wider, look where we have ended up now. Ok I would like to think I've improved but I alway lapse at times and it drags me down with the rest of them.
I do remember posters like Oniongray, CTID (Mr Chips now) and really enjoyed reading their posts, among others, the list is too long to name, the replacements, yes better than some, none of them have been able to replace what was lost, as a result, the discussions that used to be held are now nothing, no long detailed posts, just paragraphs, nothing to find out anymore, nothing new, just the same old stuff every day, can't avoid an arguement, as jobi says, sift through the sh*te, even tohugh some of it my own. I used to be in awe of some of the peoples posts in City Chat, I didn't put a word in because they had summed it all up perfectly, now it's just odd comment here, odd comment there, you might as well post now, nothing will come of anything. Other posters, such as AMC, I know he didn't like me at all, and took the opportunity to have a go if he had the chance, but yet another poster than will be hugely missed on this forum, not only for his City knowledge but also for his outstanding humour. UKP, I know we bnever got on, but a lot of his posts when not arguing do make sense and the work he has done for the club via YMM and his DVDs is outstanding and I must take my hat of to him for that.
This forum was the real introduction to York City for me, if it wasn't for this I wouldn't have met any of the people I do and stand with at games, in fact I would probably not have been to any game at all. This forum was the top thin that got me into York, but it's slipping away, this forum needs to be sorted sooner rather than later. I'm off for a while, and hopefully by them the forum will be back to how it was before, maybe recruited some of the retired posters, and I will try to quitely slip back in, engage brain before using keyboard and hopefully you would have forgotten what I was and we won't have the same rift as before.
And I have really put thought and effort into that post to say how I feel, I wan't it to be read for once whcih is why I have started a new topic, so mods, please don't lock or delete this. This isn't the usual YY "f**k you all, I'm leaving, I'll talk to you tomorrow" post, it is serious, and just proving that I do care how the forum was before and how I would love to see it back.
Please note that due to my Junior Minstermen and Championship Manager commitments I will have to post in the hidden forums and may pop up in catch a match if needed.
So again, mods please leave along. I really do care for this forum and feel responsible in a way for its downfall, and it's taken me 4227 posts to realise Sad - Good look forum

I have been in Center Parcs for a few days, and having come back I didn't expect to see TF causing a ton of problems already.
Let TF post what he wants, if it is a worthwhile and well thought out post then by all means comment on it or quote it or whatever. However if it isn't, just ignore it. People who comment negatively on TF's posts start off the arguments a lot of the time, so if you are going to say anything about TF, don't let it be pointless abuse.
I am not sticking up for him here, I am aware he causes a lot of problems but responding to his more rubbish posts with abuse won't get us anywhere.

You should have learnt your lesson by now, If you want people to be nice to you, you need to post sensible stuff which people will want to read.

Personally I feel a limit should be imposed on TF, but it won't do any good. I just wish he would make a big effort to try and improve his posts, and only post when he feels it is necessary and when he has something worthwhile to say.
