Nice to see that Austria will finally have a representative this year- Rapid Wien beat Lokomotiv Moscow 2-1 on aggregate, although they'll probably get knocked out in the group stages.

Who does everyone think will win the CL this season?

I'm going for AC Milan. They have by far the strongest team in the competiton, even though Ancelotti might not be the greatest manager in the world.

Also competing this year will be all the usual suspects, but Schalke 04 are the outsider tip this year.

Yes I know people don't care about the Champions League, but I'm just trying to revive YY's.

I reckon Chelsea will do pretty well along with AC Milan.

Liverpool also.

Manchester United, good keeper, decent defence, amazing midfield -Ronaldo, Keane, Scholes, Park, Rooney, with Nistelrooy up front.

AC Milan, great keeper, great defence, amazing midfield -Pirlo, Gattuso, Kaka, Rui Costa, with Shevchenko and Gilardino upfront.

No, it's not worth a gamble because they won't win.

Seconded, Everton will have a tough time beating Villareal tonight!

BTW, I think Man United have a very good chance of winning the CL this year, they are playing very well in the Premiership this season so far. I would have to say that I am tipping Manchester United to win the CL (Well if they get through tonight. If they don't they don't deserve to play UEFA Cup football)

Charlton are playing very good football in the Premiership so far, but I don't see you prediciting them to get a Champions League place next year do I- just think before you post Josh. IMO, you have sinhgle handedly destroyed YY's with your mindless football rants. No one cares about the Champions League apart from you, no-one cares about CSKA Moscow(they're just a sh*t team from nowhere). Your intolerable rubbish that you continue to post is ridiculous. I think a banning order is imminent for you Mr Fletcher.

Goodbye.

Charlton aren't playing that well!!! How would you care about the Premiership, Thomas? While MOTD is on you are watching J-League Football on a long forgotten Sky Channel!

CSKA? Nowhere? Russia is the largest country in the World! If Russia is nowhere then Britain must not exist!

BTW, I do not support any foreign teams, while you support

Parma
Rapid Wein
Young Boys
CSKA Moscow
CSKA Sofia
Rapid Vienna
Sturm Graz

Britian is nowhere, I'd agree to that and you know it. If you want to start throwing insults around the place then you've come to the right person if that makes sense.

The J-League is a fantastic league, it's just that you don't like the fact that Sky shows that instead of the Armenian league.

CSKA are just a miniature version of Chelsea, which is the only reason you support them.

Your fetish for players no one has heard of like Edgar Manucharyan is insane. Do not say you don't support any foreign teams, as only the other day you said, and I quote:

'Get in. Come on you Rosenborg.'

Personally, i'm surprised there weren't any spelling mistakes in there, as there usually is from foreign wannabe's like you. Why you support Rosenborg of all clubs is mad, which reaffirms your place at the top of the YY's Idiot List 2005.

Also, over the past few days, you have shown a disgusting dislike towards your own country,England, but also Germany aswell. The other day, you were spotted stoning a Volkswagen, just minutes after I had told you that Germany get automatic qualification to the World Cup in 2006. Also, you said you were quietly pleased with Austria's draw against England, and Zinedine Zidane's two goals against this great country was one of the top moments in football for you in the past year.

Go back to Armenia where you belong, and don't post on here anymore, and check your PM's.

What a load of crap.

Rosenborg? At least I don't support FC Vaduz, you once said that Lichenstein was the richest country in the world? BTW, where is Rosenborg????

"Go back to Armenia where I belong". I'm not Armenian at ALL. If I was, i'd be phoning the police becuase that is a incredibly racist comment, as well as fascist .

I don't even support Chelsea, you are the one who sticks his head up Jose Mourinho's ar*e all day. Jose this, Jose that.

Fetish for players? Prehaps looking at yourself in a mirror would help? You model yourself on Gillardino FFS. All this Forum heard about was Gillardino? How many comments have I made about E.M?? You would be lucky to find 1.

Oh and BTW, I'll have you sent down for defamation for the stoning of a Volkswagen and the comments about England and France.

See you in court. Wink

Foreign football is vastly over-rated. It's coma-inducingly slow, full of play-acting Italian ponces and, according to TV cameras, lacks an atmosphere of any sort. How anyone can buy into such crap is beyond me.

Can't believe I'm doing this.

Tommihird and thefletch if want to torrid abusive conversations with each other do not do it on the forum.

There is a PM facility if you want to have little chats, jokes or no jokes.

Other YY's do not want to read your spats at each other, this is a forum not a MSN messenger service.

Do not pm me about this or send me an e-mail as it will just go in the trash bin.

Just behave yourselves and try to grow up a bit.

-In Italy, it is slowER than England, but not necessarily totally slow. In the other top European Leagues, especially the Bundesliga, the football is fast paced and attacking, rather like the Premiership.

-Play-acting does have a habit in Europe, I admit that.

-Italy for one have the best ultras groups in the world, so I have no idea what you're talking about when you say it lacks atmosphere.

The main reason people like you don't like it Gav, is because you know little about it.

I am willing to bet anyone on YY's £3 that Liverpool do not win the Champions League this year.
