I received this e-mail from the managing director of Txt Aid this morning, it read as follows:

Quote:
With much regret, I must announce that txt Aid Limited will cease trading on 31 July 2005.

Despite our very best efforts, we have been unable to build our database to the point whereby we can attract new advertisers or persuade existing advertisers to continue using our service.

We have, quite simply, exhausted the start-up capital and have no option other than to cease trading. Any monies owing to you in line with our Terms & Conditions will be paid on 1 July.

Thank you for supporting our totally unique vision and our sincere apologies for not being able to make it work long-term.

Tony Price.
Managing Director
txt Aid (UK) Limited

It is a shame that this never got off the ground, but I would like to thank everybody who signed up to the scheme and supported the innitiative. In the end it wasn't the fans of clubs or anyone other than the advertisers themselves that forced the group to go under.

Thanks again to everyone who supported the scheme.

If you don't have anything postive to say rob, shut up.

The point in posting it in both threads is if someone is on holiday, way for a few weeks etc and return to wonder where the link has gone then they can find the original thread with the closure statement at the bottom.

They would know what they are looking for instead of looking for a thread that they may not even know exists that has moved several pages down.

Upping my post cost, i average 1.8 posts a day, whereas you average 6, 99% of which are pointless.
