As a collector of much footy memorabilia which is stored beneath the Bootham Crescent pitch in my cavern, I was just wondering what is your most treasured York City memento?
In my vast collection, I suppose mine is an old wooden seat taken from the Pop Stand inscribed with Arthur Bottom's signature. I really can't put a value on this item, but I may be able to put a value on yours if you post it on here............

Jon McCarthy's shirt from the fans match, given to me by the great man himself - though sadly not signed (will be after we next play Northwich though!) - to me this is priceless, don't imagine he'll ever wear a city shirt again Exclamation Crying or Very sad

There were only 40 shirts made so very limited edition with trust logo on arm.

I have some signed ones for auction at a later date.

My prized memento is a signed print of City Legends that I bought at the legends dinner. Value = a drunken £360 but it is signed by Walwyn and Pinder + there are only two prints - the other is in the board room. So good value for money really Laughing

I have one of those, but it dates back to the Saxton era Crying or Very sad so I've let it deflate and the signatures have faded. Laughing

I think I have a programme from Scunthorpe that has Barry Wellings' signature on it. Embarassed

Fortunately I was just a child back then otherwise I'd have had to get him a box to stand on. Wink

Also, does anyone else here still have one of those limited edition commerative mugs/tankards that were for 50 years or 75 years of something or other?

Who signed it, Mayall & MacCoatup? If so, about double what you paid - so £2. If not, then sod all. It has depreciated.

No signature = no value.

You have a printed replica - I have the other genuine one in my cavern. You've been done up like a kipper!

Scott who? Relegation? These words associated with an item do not enhance its value at all. Worth f*ck all.

Keith's sig is priceless............when not attached to membership cards. Unlucky.

1/ - There weren't any forms printed, but there were menu cards. They have obviously signed a photocopy - worth s*d all.
2/ - Mr. Ernie Bay is a scheming sod selling all sorts of duff and replica mementos from the Yellow advertising newspaper. Value? - You've gotta be kidding!!

I'd like to see this. Pay a visit to my cavern after the next home game.*

Oh dear. Sadly deluded if he thinks that's worth owt.

Can't be very valuable to you if you aren't even sure you have it, can it? Mind you, anything emanating from Scunthorpe is usually worthless, anyhow. Wink

I've met you, haven't I, Reg? Anyhow,.....your item........Dolan related? Forget it!! Embarassed

30p original cover price - worth 33p in MINT condition.

Alas, it has been defaced by a footballer whose signature resembles a doctor's. Hence - true value now:- F*ck all.

You're the bloke with the cheap aftershave who takes young ladies to one side at City matches showing them your latest range of silk knickers when you pull your coat flap to one side, aren't you? They wouldn't touch anything you own with a barge pole quite frankly, and neither would I!

It is. One of three first editions signed by Ginner. Nowt to stop Dave getting his own copy signed by Wayne though, is there? But no doubt he has tried to forge Ginner's autograph, so don't worry! Wink

Well done on pointing out my typographical error Miss Street. I can however fully endorse the menu as an original, unless, that is you are doubting the honesty of the originator of said menu, Colin Sanderson.

Anyone got a wembley sunhat? I'd love one of them.

I'm not too sure what my most prized posession is as I've only been following city for a couple of years. My 03/04 shirt is sheer beauty, also got 97/98 home signed by Andy Mac and Wayno.
