York City have appointed Viv Busby as assistant manager at Bootham Crescent, according to BBC Radio York.
Busby, who spent five years at York as a player and player-coach from 1982 to 1987, will work with manager Chris Brass and his assistant Lee Nogan.
The club's board says he has been appointed for his key skills which will benefit the team's development.
The appointment has been welcomed by Brass, who says he is looking forward to working with Busby. |
