| It was cancelled this Friday but it will (probably - just need to confirm) be on after all since City aren't playing. |

I HAVE to go in net because I'm not meant to walk but I get to bored so I will come anyway.
Reason: Repeatedly torn quad muscle! Meant to be on crutches most the time but this can be an exception.

Forum football is ON tomorrow.
Can anyone who has a decent football please bring it, as we have lost footballs on the roof (we may yet recover them though). Thanks.
It's at 7:15pm and the price is £2 (there is a 50p discount for Trust members on production of Trust membership card). (JMM Discounts do not apply on Fridays.) |

Janesy is making a guest appearance to gain match fitness before my first game against Lincoln next Saturday.

janesy you are one lucky guy. On Wednesday I went to YorkieBars training an pulled my hamstring, I will go on Friday but you are getting off lightly as I will not be able to commit myself. I was looking forward to putting some Ron Atkinson Reducer Challenges on you.

Janesy was much taller than I expected so I can see why he was initially rejected at York City. I actually swapped sides in order to test my defensive skills against him but he was a bit too sharp for me. Still it did have a positive effect in that tackling everyone else became so much easier. Thanks for raising my game.
He is a bit odd though.

On the roof? Which pitch do you play on, the first?

1.Isn't height what our club needs?!
2. I do 100metres in 11.8 seconds
3. Tackling being the operative word.
4. No probs

The height reference was said with a hint of sarcasm. Every City trainee seems about 4ft 11" and remember quite distinctly the crowd reaction when this years intake were introduced at Bootham Crescent. Of course we all hope these lads become world beaters but when you are sat in the stand and we haven't won for 2 months, suggesting training a team of midgets for 3 years is hardly the inspiration I was looking for.
Perhaps a balanced viewpoint is needed and I don't think Graeme Law and Matthew Coad were the biggest lads when they joined as YTs but last season (as 3rd Year YTs), they certainly showed they could perform at the senior level.
However what I find strange is how Darlington consider you have the required standard when City originally passed you over. Obviously Darlo will have their own academy but you have turned up there, had a trial and been successful over lads who will have been with Darlo for many years. Did you also get an offer from another club too?
Your perculiarity was down to you wanting cosmetic surgery to acquire a large pair of ladies breasts. Obviously the lack of girlfriend action is producing a hormone imbalance though I don't think El Nombre is quite the answer and you're probably too old for him anyhow.

He told me he got an offer from Hull as well, and the york wanted him back but he was offered more with Darlo (needs confirming last bit)

I was also offered a contract by Hull City yes. York under 16 manager rang up and said we may be in a position to offer you a contract, but he did not contact me again. i decided to accept Darlignton over Hull because: 1. i get to live at home and 2. because i wanted to be one of the best players at a lower division club, not just 'another' player at a good club. The focus i have to become a footballer is unreal, it's what ive always wanted since i first kicked a ball, yet i always dreamed i'd play my first match for York City. Many people from York have said privately to one another it was a mistake letting me go. I hold no grudges and would return to York at the flick of a switch.
The only viable conclusion i can come to is the fact that should theyhave taken me on then they would of had 4 left sided players to fit into 2 positions.
As for the breast inplants, the best of both worlds!
I WANNA PLAY FOR YORK!
