I don't know how to spell the lyrics but here goes:

Where what a ba where I saw thee
Only Ilkley Moore bar't'at

Where what a ba where I saw thee
where what a ba where I saw thee
on ilkley moore bar't'at (where's that?)
on ilkley moore bar't'at (where's that)

On Ilkley Moore bar't'at (somewhere near Bradford)

It's a day when I even have to be charitable to Leeds, unfortunately.

However, I don't have to be nice to you, you big-eared Cumbrian, Barrow Raiders are getting get trashed this aft!

Get over it, you've moved on from the slums now. Accept your better life and launch the North West Minstermen.

It's hard to view a move from York to Bolton as being one AWAY from the slums.

The NW minstermen have a distinct lack of potentials at the moment (ie, About 4).

So Bolton can't be that bad then if it provides you with a job you enjoy doing.

Sorry fella, not having a go at you but I get befuddled when I read about people being 'stuck' in various places as if they had no choice in the matter.

I never said I was stuck, or wanted to leave.
I just pointed out that, taken as a whole, York is a classier place than Bolton.

I'm quite happy here, and I agree about people who moan about being "stuck" in places they've chosen to go.

I'm a Geologist/Palaeontologist and work in a museum.

It's a good atmosphere, I work with really good people, I get to do lots of varied stuff and have a vaguely free reign of my domain.

Ahve bin a courtin Mary Jane etc etc

Thas bound to ketch tha death o cold etc etc

Then t'worms'll cum an et up thee etc etc
