With a fair amount of York city supporters actually supporting the race course & it's activities, a thought sprung to mind.
Would anyone on the board or boards have the influence to see of the prospect of getting a table at a York meet, in the Ebor suite say, cheap if not free.
To auction / raffle off, i've been in there a couple of times.
It's a very good do !
Should the Race commitee be actually supportive of York's sporting prowess, they should lay it on gratis.
The standard charge is about £110 per seat, table of 16 / 20.
Food is top class / few bottles of wine, good views, top class racing !
If we are to be invaded by a bunch of cor blimey eel munchers, they may placate ill will.
