I was knocking about in Tesco yesterday - I know, I must have been drunk - and I was surprised by the varieties of soup on offer. They have all sorts of weird and wonderful flavours from the mundane to the exotic. I didn't actually see Birds Nest but I'm sure it must have been there. Anyhow, what's your favourite soup?? Mine's Pea & Ham.

Sausage Rolls dipped in Tomato Soup.
Greatest non-fry-up food for a Sunday morning.

Got to be tomato soup for me. Not really that much of a fan of a lot of the other flavours.

Well in that case, can I recommend not eating soup or leeks but especially avoiding Leek Soup?

Mullaguatawny is very, very nice.
Our Tesco 'fresh soup' range (the ones in cartons) used to have a Crab and Sweetcorn Chowder, which was the dogs dangly bits. Sadly, it's no longer available.

Have to say, I was expecting a "saucy" reply to that message, but not one as feeble as that....!

I meant 'our Tesco' as in 'the Tesco store closest to my house does a very exciting range of soup'.

My kind of thread ......
Either Baxter's Spicy Parsnip {sounds crap but seriously tasty !} , Campbells Tomato & Rice or {if you prefer takeaway variety ...} Chicken & Sweetcorn from the local Chinese.

Heinz used to do a couple of soups I loved, but don't seem to do Mulligatawny or Chilli Bean anymore.
