For some reason my "pop up message" when I have a new PM doesn't appear to work any longer, despite having set it to "on".
Any ideas?

Do you have pop-up ads blocked? It could think it's an advert. |

Ah! Yes I do!
I have installed an updated version of MSN Messenger recently and it has a "Pop-Up Blocking Facility".
Thanks Laurence!

Mine stopped for a while, and all I got was like a "cow mooing" sound - honest, it's true .
It's ok now, but I know get so many pop-ups its unbearable, literally about one a minute at the least. It's all come about after an additional "SearchBar" was introduced at the bottom of my screen that's always there on the background even when offline. Bloody annoying thing and even though it's allowed my PM pop-up to return, it brings many unwanted ones.
Any ideas how to remove it, and yes I have gone through the normal proceedures. |
