Red and Blue Net Football on Fridays/Sundays

We would like more people from the forum to attend on Fridays, as we currently get a turnout of around 6-a-side but we would like to increase that to 7 or 8 a side. We get a lot more people down on Sundays.

Any forum members coming down for the first time this Friday (28 May) or next Friday (4th June) can participate FREE of charge. Please come down and give it a try, you might enjoy it!!

Also, with any football match during the Summer Holidays there is always the likliehood of lower turnouts, so during the 6-week Summer Holidays anyone who can present a valid York Minstermen membership card can participate for only £1 on Friday nights. I am hoping this may encourage some people to join the YM as well. You can download a form at http://www.minstermen.co.uk/YORK%20MINSTERMEN.pdf or pick up a form from me.

Friday football:

7:15pm prompt meet (Although we have the pitch booked for 7:30pm there is normally no-one on before us so please turn up at 7:15pm so we can get started as early as possible). Finish at approx 8:45-9:00pm.

Price: £2.00 (50p discount on production of a valid YCST membership card)

Sunday football:

6:45pm prompt meet (Please be on time as it takes time to collect the money, get teams sorted, etc, and we only get an hour from 7:00pm to play so please help us to maximise use of this time, thanks) Finish at 8:00pm

Does anyone live in Leeds/Skipton area who goes to forum footie who would have to walk back to Leeds City Bus Station. It's the only way I'll be allowed to go.

All York City fans are welcome. It is aimed at forum members however we don't restrict it to Forum members at the moment, as long as you're a City fan you are welcome to participate.

Please, please can people stop turning up late because it can cause the teams to be unbalanced as well as causing me to have to interrupt the game to collect your money and decide what team you're going to be on. I want to just be able to concentrate on the game. Last week was beyond a joke....

Football is on today as normal, I will be there from 7pm so please turn up promptly. We will go up to the bar after the game as usual.

However it is cancelled this Sunday (13 June).

Football is on as normal next weekend (Friday 18 June & Sunday 20 June).

Trust members please show me a 04/05 or life membership card if you wish to continue to get a discount from next month.

Profits will go to the Trust, so far the amount is £204 and increasing with every week that we get a good turnout. Thank you for your support Smile

It is on this weekend on both Friday and Sunday.

We are expecting a very large turnout on Friday, so please turn up in good time for 7:15pm.

If too many people turn up we may have to turn away latecomers.

Well I won't be down for a while a tearing my hamstring last night. It was so bloody painful I nearly fainted.

This is what happens to 38 year olds Mr Brass !! Even finely tuned athletes such as myself.

(and then on as normal until further notice)
