French coach Jacques Santini has been revealed as Tottenhams new manager.

Santini, who is currently preparing for Euro 2004 with the French squad said he would revel in restoring the club to prominence.

Santini will continue in charge of France until after Euro 2004.

Seems Tottenham have got themselves a good boss.

Did you think of that all by yourself or have you been watching sky sports to much?

I don't have Sky Sports, and yes I did write that all myself.

Appears to be a very good coup for Tottenham.

Looks like they're really going for it next season - new director of football, new (and very good) boss, and being linked with transfers for many top players.

Santini is obviously well respected as a top manager as he as taken France to both European Championships and World Cup glory, however it will be different to see how he copes with managing a club side instead.

I wonder whether this might create a bit of uncertainty in the French team now, seeing as their manager is leaving.

*Desperately looks for reasons why we might beat the French*

Very surprised at this, Spurs, whether they like it or not, aren't a massive club anymore, so it's a pretty good coup to get Santini.

A very good manager who i am thinking will change Spurs around and may eventually make them into a top 6 Premiership team Smile
I hope because of their manager leaving that Frace fail miserabley at Euro 2004 due to morale being low Smile I will love it if we beat them, Love it Laughing

I doubt morale will be low, Santini will want to leave with a bang and will go all out to win Euro 2004 and after the World Cup the French will want to show everyone who is the best.

Don't know about that, but he was on loan from Inter Milan and got sent back for one reason or another.
