Keith Walwyn Tournament Sweep

The draws been made, fancy your chances of lifting some silverware? Got some ‘inside information’ and think another teams signing will make that difference? This year you can make some money by having a punt on it.

Bets in multiples of £5 can be placed on any team to win any of the trophies, so if you have a heavy night the night before and struggle in the first group stages, don’t worry your bet won’t be lost straight away, you can make it up in the afternoon.

Prior to kick off of the first match, the total amount of money bet will be split in two – half as a ‘prize fund’ and the other half to add to the profits that will go to the trust.

At the end of the tournament the prize fund will be split as follows:-

50% to those who backed the winners of the KW Cup
30% to those who backed the winners of the Nomads Cup
20% to those who backed the winners of the Crabtree Cup

All based upon the amount you’ve bet.

Example.

CityTillIDie fancies the Nomad’s Youth Chances of winning a trophy and bets £10.
Overall bets totalling £800 are placed on the tournament, meaning £400 for the trust and £400 for the prize pool. The Nomads Youth win the Nomads Cup giving a total of £120 to be paid out to those who backed the Youth. 2 other people bet £10 on Nomads Youth and 2 people bet £5. CityTillIDie makes a return of £30 (£20 profit).

A ‘tote-style’ indication of what returns could be expected for each team to win each trophy will be published during the run up to the tournament.

Anyone who fancys a flutter please either Email or PM me with details of how much you want to put on.

Payment can be made by cheque or cash. Make any cheques payable to R.M. Willis and send me a PM for details of where to post to.

For any cash bets, you will be able to do so at any of the three England games that are being shown in the Social club on June 10, June 17 and June 21. If none of these options are suitable then please contact me and we’ll arrange something else.

Edit1. In the unlikely event of one of the winning teams not being backed, the money from the prize pool that would have gone to backers of those teams will be split equally between the profits, and the other 2 teams.
2. There is also a remote possibility that, despite winning, you may receive back less than the orignial amount staked.
