However I 'am sceptical of the whole idea of a junior supporters group. As what would we be able to offer to our members. For example the other afore mentioned groups offer travel and fund raising initiatives. What could we offer to the future Junior Minstermen that wouldn’t be already accessible from existing supporter groups???

Agree though that there might not be all that much it could offer that is different to other supporter groups. Away travel wouldn't be that relevant to such a group - it's rumoured that the York Minstermen won't allow under 18s on their away trips, but most of the under 18s at away games seem to travel with the forum group anyway.
On a slightly different note, what about a "yorkcityfc.com" flag being displayed at away games next season with the forum away travel group if we are going to get to quite a few away games next season? Bit of extra publicity for the site if nothing else.
However I think it's an interesting idea in general, having a young supporters club independent of the club, particularly if it could organise fundraising activities. Notice that the plans for snooker / table football fundraisers etc. don't seem to have gone much further recently, perhaps this would be an idea for such a supporters group?

I am keen on getting this Cat involved so that yorkcity4eva can succeed in his task of "getting in there". The fans club could prove the key to him "pulling her". Although I highly doubt it but still.

Yes thanks to Kingmouse.
Myself and yorkcity4eva have agreed that the age limit for this organisation should be 21, but as it is a junior organisation they will be no set minimum age hence anyone up to the age of 21 could join.

Why don't you see if you can set up a sort of younger section within the Supporters Trust?
It is a good idea yorkcity4eva, but I think we may get more support and possibly a little assistance when needed if we were a part of the ST.
