Sonsterette, how do you think of them. Very Happy At the end of the day: no vote-no opinion-no right to complain. If you dont want to vote at least return the ballot paper either spoiled or with and essay of your own ideals of political reforms.

Spot on.
Don't take your vote for granted, there are people in other countries who would fight and die for the right to vote.
So vote no matter who for.

You've got to have a degree in origami to get the forms in the envelopes correctly. Blimey, I used to love that polling station.

Just got back from the North East Lib Dem Euro candidates team meeting.... our main concern at present is the whereabouts of the sodding ballot papers.

Despite being a very political animal by nature, I've refused to vote in the Scottish elections so far as I don't agree with The Parliament.

I know everybody SHOULD vote but I think they need to bring in a "none of the above" type of option so that those of us who don't want ANY of the numpties we're saddled with to win can put their point of view.

I'm 3rd candidate out of 3 on the North East list so I've got no chance of getting elected - although the Lib Dems may well get 1 candidate elected in the region.

However, watch out for the Newcastle City Council local election result on June 11th Wink

I've just done mine.

But I spotted something strange: there's a nice picture (called "How to cast your postal vote") to explain how all the bits of paper go in the envelopes, and the diagram in the middle contains the address to send the ballot paper to. In teeny tiny writing, it says:

Quote:
THE RETURNING OFFICER
FOOTBALL BOROUGH COUNCIL
TOWN HALL
FOOTBALL
FA1 9MO

I've never heard of the place... Shocked Laughing
