Can't download a pic because I'm rubbish, but the best thing I've seen in ages was last nights news with those London geezers proudly holding their patriotic banner outside a London police station that was housing old hook arms. "SLING YUR HOOK" best banner ever........

Have always been proud to be York, first and foremost. England can go hang for me, don,t feel much identity with the nation and would rather be something else. Not French obviously, there are limits....... Rolling Eyes

Sea, Lakes, Mountains, fantastic food, gorgeous people, good football team, culture, yummy wine, seriously fab climate, music, pasta, style...........mmmmm!

Get God to move York to Lake Garda and I,ll be wanting a pad there....Goodbye England!

Mind you, I suppose I,d miss the rain, pit-bulls, grime, traffic congestion, long working hours, vandalism, litter, out of town shopping, Arriva Trains, yob culture, Blair pandering to the Americans, moaning, dog poo, beer guts, The Sun's balanced views, road rage, stodgy food.......... Possibly a bit harsh that last post, in truth I,d miss certain English aspects:-

Humour.
General fair mindedness and tolerence.
The Lakes
Beer
M & S Sandwiches
Pubs
Cricket

and of course, FAMILIARITY & BELONGING. Which is really all nation "pride" is when you break it down to its basics.

Funny that people fight wars over it, isn,t it...... Confused

When you see a pic from the internet you want, right click on it. Select properties and then cut and paste the web address onto your forum post.

Then all you need to do is highlight the address once again, select the "Img" button shown above the post a reply box.

Once you have said all you want to say in your message, press "submit" as usual and wheheeeyyy:- your piccie is there for all to see. Smile
