The trips to Telford and Margate are (obviously!) cancelled, as instead City play Leigh RMI and Northwich.

Both Northwich and Leigh are the other side of Manchester, on local all-statons stopping routes. I am not sure if I will be organising trips to these venues yet.

Exeter may have a trip after all - with the new timetable there is a convenient train back which gets to York at 2230 - not bad for such a long distance, so it is possible. I am not yet sure though. I will decide closer to the time.

Further details will be available when the fixture list is released.

If anyone wants a copy of the away travel info for next season and doesn't already have a copy, PM me.

Well at least we have two nearby teams do visit without having to travel to far. Leigh and Northwitch arent exactly hard teams to beat and most definatley away games i will hopeful be going to.

Quite a big ground Leigh RMI so It will be a very poor atmosphere with about 500 people there as the whole of the 10,000 capacity ground is open to all people on matchdays.

I suggest we just pack all the York fans into as small area a possible and try and make as much noise as possible.

This is going wildly off-topic.

To answer the original question, I doubt I will be arranging a trip to e.g. Morecambe, and I am likely to go with the York Minstermen for that. It's not really a viable trip by train.

Secondly, I am joining the YM and I am encouraging others to do so at our football matches at Oaklands. True Faith, will you stop coming out with rubbish and READ the forum that includes the announcements on General Chat & City Chat Mad

Thirdly, the claim that YM are undemocratic is NOT TRUE, this was a joke by UkrainianPhil and the entire topic about that was deleted as it really went in a direction that was not benefitial to anyone. Please can we put all of this behind us.

Oh and True-Faith are you going to join the Trust or not? Lucky the rest of us didn't follow your example or we'd have no club now Embarassed
