Middlesborough have started negotiations with Kluivert following his release from Barcelona, they also are after Mark Viduka and the Portsmouth striker Yakubu.

Barcelona also released three others. I think Recber, Reizeger and Overmars. Wonder if any of them will come to the Premiership. Overmars has already played in it with Arsenal and Recber was a target for Arsenal before they signed Lehmann.

Think Kluivert will go to Middlesborough or will he want a bigger club?

I'm not particularly fond of murderers playing in the Premiership to be honest.

Well personally im not fussed where the guy plays, although I think this story could turn out to be similier to that of the Rivaldo and Bolton story, and will go quiet after a few days and we wont hear anymore about it

Quite possibly, although it does seem likely that Kluivert will move to the Premiership. I wouldn't be surprised if this speculation turned out to be accurate though.

Think he probably will go to MiddlesBROUGH, he'll be after 60 odd grand a week like Boksic. That Steve Gibson's got more money than sense...wish he was our Chairman!

I'm surprised Bolton aren't interested!

Also, Barcelona released another Dutchman in Philip Cocu. Maybe he'll come to the prem?

Possibly.

The release off all these quality players from Barcelona must surely have attracted attention amongst Premier League clubs. Bet Sam Allardyce is making a few calls to agents though!.

Kluivert has rejected a move to Middlesbrough.

He wants to join a "big club" from London.

Dont see that happening as Chelsea and Arsenal wont want him, the only club that can make an offer is Tottenham.

True, I can't see Chelsea wanting him, but don't be so quick to rule out Arsenal.

They've got Henry as a definite starter but then there's Reyes (still settling), Bergkamp (getting on a bit), Kanu (no longer his previous talent) and Aliadiere (who's yet to prove himself).

We'll see, but I don't think Kluivert would see Spurs as a 'big' London club.

Agreed. By a "big London club" he obviously means Chelsea or Arsenal, however neither have shown interest so far. Perhaps he will have to swallow his pride and go to Middlesbrough or Tottenham if he so desperately wants to play in the Premiership.

The clubs that maybe interested in signing him could be Birmingham, Tottenham, Fulham, Charlton and Everton.

I think Kluivert going to Spurs is highly doubtful.

He only wants to go to a big club, and I doubt that Tottenham figure highly in his mind.

Spurs have also failed in their attempt to get Ranieri. There a small club who think they are bigger and better than what they are Confused

Yeh but theres some boring teams in the Premiership like Southampton, Bolton and West Brom (when they go up), these teams will never be contenders.

Bolton are not boring, have you not noticed that they have players like Djorkaeff and Okocha?. They have improved immensely under Allardyce adn get better all the time. I disagree with your post entirely in that sense.

Well teams like Charlton, Southampton and Tottenham will never win the Premiership. The reason why Seria A and La Liga are so exctining because its so unpredicatable while our league is either Man Utd or Arsenal.
