At the request of those who voted in the two polls (one of which has now been removed), the Young Yorkies moderators announce that the topic "the big 1" has officially been deleted.

Condolences to those whose post counts may suffer, but YY is truly democratic and the results of this particular referendum were binding.

Now that it has gone many peoples post counts have gone down, notably myself, yorkcity4eva, True Faith, Doctor Jim and even Woody Wilson has dropped down well below 2000.

Everyone will now have to post on other topics and not just the Big 1, this might hit some people hard, personally I will be alright as I have the "Latest News" section to do and I do contribute to forum topics reguarly.

However posters like True Faith etc will have to think of something worthwhile to say and not just use the Big 1.

(Also as a YY moderator may I congratulate my fellow moderators for the deletion of the Big 1, I was the one who locked it).

No I locked it yesterday under intense pressure from yorkcity4eva. If it wasn't either of us two then it must have been El Nombre.

It was indeed me who deleted the topic, but this is irrelevant as the decision was made by the people who voted in the polls.

I had no choice other than to delete it - what would be the point of holding the poll if the results were just ignored?
