Lee Bullock has returned to York after his loan spell at Cardiff, with the Welsh outfit still undecided on whether they want to sign the player.
The 22-year old midfielder initially joined the Ninian Park side on loan, and managed to score 3 goals in just 4 starts there.
But Cardiff boss Lennie Lawrence is still unsure as to whether he should keep the midfielder for next season, despite agreeing a £75 000 transfer fee with the Minstermen in March, with another £75 000 due after future appearances.
York's finance director Terry Doyle gave his views:
"As a board, we are very disappointed for Lee Bullock that Cardiff, as yet, have not took up their option to sign Lee Bullock,"
"He has worked hard since moving there on loan and has been successful, showing that he's very capable of playing at that level.
"If Cardiff don't choose to sign Lee we are aware that other first division clubs have already shown an interest."
