Has anyone got an update for this game where Wilford, Parkin and Bullock are no longer at our club and all transfers have been updated such as Saha to Man Utd and Reyes to Arsenal and Abramovich is chariman of Chelsea.
Its very annoying because i just cannot find an update anywhere on the web. Also where can you get other downloads such as skins and backgrounds for the game.

Forgot to add, when it downloads what do you do, how do you extract the files and get it working.

The update launches automatically when you open it, all you have to do is sit back, sip a beer and wait......

Last time i downloaded it, it didnt work and there was no read me file with the thing. Also where does the season start on the game. Can you start in March with York City nearing the relegation zone and all previous results are the exact same as in real life such as our 4-1 defeat at Lincoln.

That's odd, it's the 3rd listing in the Google Directory.

Just another question, when i use the editor it is very very slow and if i put Roman Abramovich as Chelsea chairman then go and edit some stuff at York City Roman Abramovich automatically is put as York chairman.
CM is a great game but theres a few downsiders such as speed of the game and that Leeds won came 3rd in the premiership which is unreallistic and also York keep playing their youth players like Stlaey, Haw and Arther nearlly every match.
However it is leagues ahead of LMA Manager 2004 which i wasted £40 on it. Now i want to get rid of it.

If anyone using the game has any problems with some of the files off the dugout not self-extracting then just use WinZip(www.winzip.com), but delete the program after use as it contains a virus...

No, WinZip does not contain a virus!
Also if you have Windows XP, you don't need WinZip.
You should never download anything that contains a virus (deleting it wont stop the virus spreading) but WinZip does not contain a virus!

Well it sends my computer nutty! And i narrowed it down to that program so i don't know whats wrong with it, but it caused me to have to re boot, and i was on the verge of winning Serie A with Juve, and cuz of me having to re boot and replace all files etc, i lost it!

I actually just got the squad files this weekend to start the editing process for the next game. Quite a few City players are going to see their ratings drop!
In terms of editor problems, have you downloaded any of the patches from www.sigames.com?
Many editor problems were fixed in this.
For those who don't know, Championship Manager 5 will not be made by Sports Interactive, the people who made all the previous versions of CM, as they split with CM's distributor, Eidos Interactive.
Eidos have hired a new company to make the game (Beautiful Games Software). They got the name and the "look" of the game. SI got the database and all the game code (the important stuff!).
The true follow-up to CM03/04 will be called Football Manager 2005 (a nostalgia trip for those of us old enough to remember Kevin Toms original!).
This is quite confusing, but if you can make sure anyone you know who is a fan is aware of this it'll be very helpful!

Will the game change then, screenshots look very good with more media options and theres pictures of each different player, for example clicking on a player like Darren Bent will bring up a picture and have a more detailed history and his favourites clubs and disliked clubs and a refrence on his character.

Many elements of the game will change yes.
Many will be improved (they have an evolution not revolution approach in general).
It's worth noting that at the time of CM03/04 they knew they were splitting with Eidos. So would you necessarily then include all the new stuff you'd been working on, or would you hold some back?
The player pictures very much depends on permission from relevant authorities.
The screenshots (I assume you mean the FM ones from the SI Games website) are Mock-ups but give an idea of what the new interface will be like.
I'm pretty confident this will comfortably be the best football management game ever (and they don't pay me so I don't have to say that!)
But it'll work around the same basic match engine. With some improvements (eg Offside not applying in every single possible case, short passing actually working).

And hopefully finances will be more real because on CM03/04 Leeds were in debt by £8 million when they where more like £80 million in debt and Chelsea only have £90 million while in real life they will have 10 times the amount to spend.

The finance module has been rebuilt.
It was still on mid/late-90's models with football still having a "boom"
Finances on the next game will be much harsher on teams like YCFC. But wage demands will be down.
And they have accomodated the "Chelski Factor" too!

And hopefuly there will different types of chairman. For example Abramovich has a lot of money and expects Chelsea to win everything while someone like Snatch would put the club into severe debt.

Yes, i can't wait for the new version to come out, as i've just started a new go with Juve the other day and last night after a marathon go on it i've won the Serie A with 8 games to spare, which, considering its possibly the hardest league on the game to win, i reckon is amazing.
God i could go on about Champ Man all day, but i'm not gonna! Only bore you all to death!

Yes, on Real Life 2002-03, I narrowly missed out on the play-offs with York City by employing a 6-0-4 formation. I cannot wait for Real Life 2003-2004 to come out
