Very cheap by train:
£8.50 adults / £5.60 YP / £4.25 U16s
And if you are getting a bus to the station in York, get a FirstDay ticket (£2.20). It's also valid on First buses in Doncaster so you can use it go get from the station to the ground. Not many people know that! So you don't need to pay for the buses twice ( if you don't believe me check here ).

When I last got a First Day, it said it was valid throughout Greater Manchester and Yorkshire. I was tempted to head over the Pennines to test it out, but decided on going to Bury instead. So now I'll never know. |
