With the inaugural post on this forum I'll open the most obvious debate, how do you rate your teams chances? Who do you think stands a chance this year?

If the Jesmond Lynams and Evening Press play like they did last year then I can't really see a winner beyond these two for the main prize!
Nomads Youth will be there or thereabouts, but fitness (or lack of) and alcohol consumption will play it's part. Two new signings in 'palfrexm' and 'chrislong' from our successful 11 a-side team could push the Yoof onto greater things this year...

Seaside City will be a year older and a year less fit. Plus we've lost the only player who actually did any running around for us. So I predict we'll be pish this year!
Besides, this year I don't have a lovely osteopath girlfriend to give a 'rub down' after the match, so I'll be sore as f**k the day after!
There's optimism for you!

I certainly would n't relish a game against the Nomads Youth this time around but hopefully, if the lads I want to add to our squad are availible, we should be better than last year. The YEP were worthy winners in the end last time round, though it pains we to say it. With a sub or two we should be able to keep our momentum going through to the final. It should be a stronger and more powerful Lynams/Onetouchables side this year. I have vowed to Ingster that I will shed my reputation as team jigsaw and top the team's scoring charts this time round.

I'm not so sure, having watched your final i'd prefer to avoid your lot purely for fitness reasons!
We have a decent looking squad, the only blow being the loss of 'Moro', away on 'international duty'!

It would certainly be an interesting one and potentially the game of the tournament! Hoping to add a bit more graft to our finesse this time around. Are the senior Nomads entering a side this year?

Golden Lion are a much improved outfit this year and are currently top of our Monday night 6-a-side league. We have a couple of excellent players since last season's debacle and will be a good game for anyone.
The draw is eagerly awaited.
We hope to get the Lynams and Seaside City as we owe them both!

I think the Matalan team will do well in this tournament. We are starting to play some really good football in our training sessions and we have some very skillful players that everyone will have to watch out for.

If the footballl is as good as the name you'll stroll it GH! Do you offer opponents 2 goals for the price of 3?

Didn't attend last year, but as far as the Forum teams chances go doub't we;ll get too far. We're a young, very young side, but we'll give it our best chance im sure of that, and could surprise a few I'm sure. |

You won't get another fluke like that young Willy.
And I only miss last minute one-on-ones once.
1-0 to us next time.

What sessions? No mate, never heard of them! It's what happens in the 90 minutes that matters.

Hopefully, although I don't remember booting you in the head, I just remember the ball sneaking agonisingly wide.

My back appears to be better, therefore my goal scoring abilities may improve. I am starting on a strict fitness programme-no more than 21 units of alcohol a day, I believe that's the government guideline

if those twins play for a team that comes up against the forum team I will refuse to play for safety reasons. I will also demand the ref keeps a very close eye on them.
