York City player-manager Chris Brass believes his side can beat the drop into the Conference if they show the commitment they produced in the 1-1 draw with Bury.
City looked dead and buried after Gareth Seddon put Bury into the lead but the Minstermens first goal in five games scored by Liam George gained them a crucial point.
The goal sparked City into life and they were unlucky not to score more.
Brass said: "There was only one team in it once we got the goal. It was disappointing we didn't get the three points, but what a performance to build on.
"We can take a lot of confidence from that. We've shown that we're up for the fight now, and that has certainly pleased me."
