Rumours in the papers say the FA are set to choose BLAZING SQUAD to do England's song for Euro 2004.

It's generrally accepted that New Order did the best football song ever but the FA probably won't ask them. At the last World Cup they wanted to do a remix of the World In motion song with Beckham doing the John Barnes rap but I think he declined.
By the way has anyone seen the flyers for Blue playing The KC stadium?
God help them!

Place bets here on how long they can survive. I'd give them quarter of an hour.

Cmon then who was it that sang the 1966 world cup song that went something like
Dressed in red white and blue
World Cup Willy
We all know it's true
World cup willy
Willy Willy
is evreybody's favourite
for the cup.
Now they don't write words like that or this
Back Home they'll be thinking about us
with every move we make
Back home theyll be thinking about us
with every kick we take (or summat like that!)
(1970 England world cp squad)

My brother has the Godawful(bluff) 1982 "This Time" album. Truly a low point in England football records.

Naw dont think it was him, it was well before he had "made it" on the comedians. I spose I shall have to climb into the loft for the Guinness book of hit singles!

Blazing Squad my a**e!
I don't know where these rumours start, but that's just poppycock. I think you'll find that England, as they are chasing the ultimate prize in Portugal, will be using a classic mid-80's song written by myself with suitably amended lyrics. I'm sure you can guess which one I am referring to.
