York City boss Chris Brass is hoping to extend Richard Offiongs stay at the club to the end of the season.
Offiong has not yet scored for the Minstermen.
The Newcastle player joined the club on loan and his spell is due to end after the away fixture at Cambridge United.
Brass said: "We initially took him on a month's loan but we are hoping to extend his stay at Bootham Crescent until the end of the season."
