What a feeling!! Glad to see City are being well represented in Norway!!! In 1985 we did beat Arsenal 1-0 in the Cup, so I can imagine your feeling of elation when City beat them again!
Nicolas Mazzina was the Argentinian in question. He disappeared some time last season, as he was just a publicity stunt by the cowboy who used to own the club.

Intresting to see he's re-signed Neil Tarrent, that guy we had on loan a season or two ago.

Disagree on Mazzina, thought he looked quite quick and skillful. Would have liked him to have been given a proper chance to show what he could do.

Wasn't the reasons that he left meant to be family related? |

That was Veron, a striker who arrived at the same time. Mazzina was just released I think.

I thought Mazzina was alright but it was hard to judge on just a couple of games.
As for Veron, I suspect he was signed for the name
Apparently Luther Blissett would sign players like Veron, Mazzina, Rogerio etc without telling Dolan, and the other players and Dolan would arrive at the dressing room and Blissett would just say "we've signed these players" |

I and some friends became fan of York City after watching them beat man.united out of the cup in 95/96 (?)
Tarrant is one of my fav. in CM since the CM where he was on loan to york, he always get the topscorer title, I play with a 4-3-3 . You should try to get him to york. (he now play for Raufoss, wich is in 1 division in norway).
I was looking forward to see Mazzina in the club, but could never figure out why I never saw him playing.
One day when im done with my studies and get a job I will travel down to england and watch York play... I hope
