Is it just me or are these things designed to suck the very brains out of the wearer's head, thereby turning him/her {even CLASSIER looking on a girl btw } into a complete moron ?
Can't just be a coincidence ......

Burberry check is so passe dahling.....No self respecting geezer would be seen dead in a checked Burberry cap. They went "out" at least Two years ago. It seems to me that the saps who wear them now are "wannabees", acne covered teenagers, and Boston geezers who are years behind everybody else.......

Unfortunately still popular up here among the "Ned" community {Non- Educated Delinquents} most of whom hang around street corners verbally abusing passers-by and drinking tonic wine .......

I can clear this up, there was a competition in The Sun a couple of years back titled; "Send us in your funny shaped brain and win a Burberry Checked Cap!"
Sadly is was very popular.............

heh heh heh Carpy, as you well know I have never owned or espoused the wearing of Burberry, I'm strictly 'man at Next'.
Personally I've always preferred the Farah's and Pringle look for hoolies, nicely set off with a tight perm and Sergio Taccinni Tennis pumps - lovely. It sort of said, I'm sooo comfy with my fighting prowess that I can dress like a tart and no-one will mention it...

Burberry have made excellent clothes for about 300 years-take a trip to their flagship store in Regents Street and you won't see the sort of s***e such as is seen in that picture.
Unfortunately at some point in the early to mid 90's Burberry decided to tap into the baseball cap market which has led to every scumbag in the street wanting to wear the Burberry check. I assure you that most of the crap you see on the street was bought on a market somewhere.
Burberry's harrington jacket remains an absolute classic;

Agreed LVR, buy quite a bit of their golf range and the quality is second to none, with realistic sizing, (unlike Boss, Lacoste etc.), and not a dodgy check in sight! |

Personally i like burberry but wouldn't wear any of the over the top in-yer-face style garments such as the cap/scarf or whatever that muppet in the pic above is wearing. However, as LVR said the Burberry harrington jacket is a classic item of clothing.
BTW. The only check i would advocate wearing at the moment is Daks of London or decent items of Aquascutum. However the house check look, whilst being a classic look, has become a bit tired the last couple of years.
For what it's worth my current favourite labels are Ozeki, Blue Guru, OTS, CP, Paul Smith and Farhi.

Aye, I have a couple of shirts and jumpers and they are without doubt the best quality I purchased. Better than PS etc.....
