Terrorists have hijacked ice-cream vans and driven them into the Minster, destroying it completely. The board of York City FC are so caught up in mourning the loss of the building that they forget entirely that the club's nickname, "The Minstermen" is now totally inappropriate and irrelevant.

With just 5 minutes until the FA's deadline for submitting official nicknames, the task is handed to you, yes you, to think of a new nickname, otherwise the club will face expulsion from the league.

So come on, it's all up to you.

The Vikings. And we could make a fortune selling those crappy plastic horned Viking hats. And be ridiculed by the rest of the league, just like old times.

I'm not fully sure about this, but doesn't a city need a cathedral or minster for its status. So surely finding an new club name would be the firdt problem as we wouldn't be a city. Rovers sound good to anyone?
