I don't think it's okay to take the piss out of dead Russians either, but there you go.

Well, you were politically correct so I will be too.
I was not taking the piss out of dead Russians.
The song went "leeds are going down like a russian submarine", who says leeds are not going to bounce back up again after a few seasons? likewise I would expect submarines to come back up. I was not referring to the incident that you are referring to. I didn't make the song, perhaps the person who made it was referring to that in which case I can only apologise (as I did do) for repeating it. Since people started associating it with that event I have not repeated it.
On the other hand you were clearly taking the piss out of people.

He looks no younger than Sheppo, who is your age

It's true, we saw him on the train on the way back from the Rushden match.

An excellent point Simon, with just three minor drawbacks:
1. You didn't go to Rushden with us
2. We hadn't even met you when we went to Rushden
3. Sheppo doesn't go to away games.

Another excellent point Larry, three small problems
1. People who quote Red Dwarf in public deserve shooting
2. See point 2.
3. 20 goto 10.

No but he saw Sheppo, not you. And if "we" meant you, Sheppo and the rest of the crew then your final point is a little strange?, if he didn't go with you then what does it matter that he/we didn't see as we were certainly there. you. You've successfully contradicted yourself there Laurence, well done lad.

OK maybe it was Leyton Orient, but the fact remains that I saw Tony Shepherd AKA "Sheppo" on the train on the way back. |
