| Austrian immigrant Tommi
joined up with the team after arriving from his motherland following his
illegal entry via Dover. Tommi managed to avoid the authorities for many
years until in '98 he was caught wondering the streets dressed in
traditional Lederhosen and was promptly arrested for crimes against
fashion.
Unable to understand the cockney's perverse use of the English
language Tommi decided to try his luck further up north. He made the
trip to York after hitching a lift in the back of a HGV containing self
tanning products bound for Malton.
As part of his understanding of the English culture Tommi was
required to integrate himself into the local community so he joined up
with the team during the 2004 season. Unfortunately he's not adapted to
the English game, playing primarily at right back his continental
ignorance shone through when he tried to keep possession instead of
smacking it off the park first time. Converted to goalkeeper for the
2006 campaign his performances between the sticks continue to get
stronger and stronger.
Now a regular player and a British Citizen he's loves our great land
and can often be heard muttering; "Schmutzige Englische Schweine!",
which roughly translates to "thanks for having me here".
