| A stocky centre back.
Michael Staley is another City
Academy product. He featured in most reserve games in
City’s ill-fated relegation season. However, with the signing of
Clarke, Davis and Pearson, all centre-backs, plus centre-back being the
favoured position of his player-manager, Michael may spend much of this
season being held in reserve. Another player who signed his first
professional contract in the summer.
