Supporters Trust

York City Supporters Trust

York City Supporters Trust, or more commonly known as The Trust amongst the City faithful, was set up officially in February 2002 to combat the almost imminent end of the club. After months of attempting to work with chairman-at-the-time John Batchelor, they formally took over the club at the last minute before administrators planned to shut the club down. More descriptive information about the fairytale rise and rise of the Trust can be found on their official website, which contains heaps of information about those involved, their aims and much, much more. The Trust has almost 2000 members and all City fans are encouraged to join.
